BRAND STRATEGIST · FOUNDER · CREATIVE DIRECTOR · FRACTIONAL CMO · HOST
Four rooms.
THE ECOSYSTEM
For ten+ years I've helped founders find the brand they couldn't see yet. Somewhere in there I became more than the work: a mother, a host, a woman building a company she can run and still be home by three.
Mika-Taché.com is my creative hub: everything I make and care about, in one place, without the agency filter.
One Point of View
01/ THE LETTER
DEAR MIKA
A letter from me to me, and you read over my shoulder: on building, becoming, designing, and living. New ones land when they land.
No performance, just the letter.
02/ AUTHORITY
SAINT MGMT
The agency I’ve run for ten years: brand strategy and creative direction for founders. It has its own home and its own voice. If that’s what brought you here, I’ll point you there.
YOU GOOD, GIRL?
03/ HOST
The show I co-host with Susan Jensen: honest talk on burnout, healing, and staying whole while you build something. New episodes monthly.
04/ DESIGNED LIVING
SPACES
Where my eye goes off the clock. I'm certified in interior design, and this is where it lives for now: interiors, color, set design, and the rooms I keep styling in my head.
Mostly for love, occasionally for hire.
The Name
M(i)ka-Tache'
People often ask me what my name means.
Mika means beautiful fragrance.
Taché is French for marked: a trace, a signature, the thing left behind.
Together they read like an instruction: be a beautiful thing that leaves a mark, a lasting impression.
I didn't choose it, but I grew into it. The brand work, the letters, the rooms I can't stop styling: it's all some version of leaving a mark that stays.
Turns out the name knew before I did.
A love letter to myself,
Dear Mika is a letter I write to myself, and to every Mika a room ever tried to rename: the initials I put on old résumés hoping a safer-sounding name would get me further, the name people guessed instead of asking, the version of me who learned to take up less space so the room would relax. I'm still writing to her, and you'll probably recognize pieces of yourself in these too: growing up, the hard parts, motherhood, the work, whatever I'm actually thinking about. No theme, no schedule, no performance. It's a newsletter, not a blog you have to remember to check: subscribe once, and it lands in your inbox the day I finish writing it.
No fee to read, just say where to send it.
and to all the Mikas.
No apologies
" I was never going to be just one thing — so I stopped apologizing for being all of them. "

Spaces
Where my eye goes off the clock.
Interiors, color, set design, and the rooms I keep styling in my head. I'm certified in interior design: here it's mostly for love, occasionally for hire.
There's no studio behind this, and no business waiting to be booked. It's the folder in my head I can't stop adding to: a paint color, a chair, the way light sits in a room at four o'clock. I trained for this formally, but most days it's just the thing I notice before I notice I'm noticing it. What's here changes as often as what I'm actually looking at. If something here makes you want your own space to feel different, that's the only pitch you're getting.
